Walk-in Pediatric Urgent Care Back in Norwalk!

As COVID-19 recedes (hooray!), Darien is opening for primary care again (double hooray!) and Urgi-KIDS is moving back to Norwalk (hooray! Hooray! HOORAY!)

On June 1, you will be able to walk your child in to Urgi-KIDS in Norwalk without an appointment.

Urgi-KIDS Pediatric Urgent Care is the perfect solution for new illnesses and injuries that need prompt attention. Urgi-KIDS is staffed with pediatricians and health care providers who specialize in pediatrics; your child, ages newborn to 26 years old will have a provider who truly understands children’s growing bodies and their need for a special kind of care.

Visit Urgi-KIDS for:

Fever of over 100.4 degrees
Vomiting or diarrhea
Ear infection or ear pain
Eye infections, swollen, inflamed, red or pink eyes
Sore throat
Rashes and skin disorders
Runny or congested nose
Allergy episode
Asthma symptoms

We accept most insurance plans at Urgi-KIDS, including Medicaid and Husky plans. You’ll find any co-pays are the same as a regular visit to your pediatrician, much lower than emergency rooms, in-pharmacy care centers or adult-focused urgent care.

Your pediatrician, whether here at The Center for Advanced Pediatrics or another practice, will get a full report of your child’s visit here, treatment implemented and any follow-up requirements.

Urgi-KIDS will remain COVID-19 compliant. We will sanitize spaces between each patient. You and your child are required to wear masks the entire time you’re in our waiting rooms, offices and hallways. One sick or injured child is allowed one caregiver.
