Ear Piercing

Ear Piercing

TCFAP offers ear piercing for your child’s comfort and safety, reducing the chance of infection or complications.

Piercing is performed by their familiar, friendly provider in our comfortable, clean and safe medical offices in Norwalk and Darien.

Children getting ears pierced must be:
• A registered TCFAP patient.
• Over the age of 6 months.
• Up-to-date on recommended childhood vaccinations.

We use a Blomdahl piercing gun and supply the starter earrings. Your child has a choice of titanium silver with a clear crystal “diamond”, titanium gold with a clear crystal “diamond” or a plain titanium silver ball. All three are small and sit close to the ear.

Earrings must stay in for 6 weeks and cared for per our instructions, after which they can be changed out for other earrings.

The cost is not covered by insurance.

Ear piercing is not performed in our Urgi-Care office.
