The Center for Advanced Pediatrics is making protecting your family from the flu – and decreasing your risk of being infected with COVID-19 – simple and easy with our Drive Thru Flu Shot Clinics.

The CDC is urging everyone who is medically able, including children over the age of 6 months, to get the flu vaccine. If your child received a vaccination last season, they are not protected against the flu this year. A new, updated vaccination is required.

COVID-19 is a deadly respiratory illness, just like the flu. Having the flu will weaken your child’s immune system, increasing their risk of contracting COVID-19. A double infection – having the flu and COVID-19 at the same time – will seriously impact symptoms, testing, diagnosis, treatment, complications, recovery and long-term health.
